Ms. Catalano
"Man must cease attributing his problems to his environment, and learn again to exercise his will - his personal responsibility." -Albert Einstein

Ms. Catalano has been teaching for 20 years, and earned two different degrees.  She has her Bachelors of Science in Secondary English Education and her Masters of Science in Literacy.  She earned her Bachelors at The State University College of New York at Oneonta, and achieved her Masters at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.  This is Ms. Catalano's second year of teaching here at Spring Creek.  Ms. Catalano chooses to teach here because since the classes have 15 or fewer students, she gets to really teach.  The students here get the individualized instruction that they often don't get as opposed to mainstream public high schools, where classes often have 30 or more students, and a lot of time is lost because of necessary 'crowd control' and minor discipline problems.  On her free time, she loves to ski and travel.  When she was in school, her favorite classes were English and Band where she played the piano and the saxophone.
