Ms. Coil
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." -Brian Littrell

Ms. Coil has taught art at Spring Creek for 10 years.  She has a M.A.T. from Webster University and tries to provide a wide range of art projects within our safety guidelines.  These projects include: drawing, painting, paper arts, printmaking, collage, mask-making, hand-made books and some 3-D projects.

She also does "Shield" projects where the students can make their own shield like they used to in the olden days to identify who they were.  For example:DSCN2625.JPG (157944 bytes)

The students also had the chance to make Aboriginal Dream Dot Paintings, which turned out beautifully.  The first one that you see won an award at the Spring Creek Awards Ceremony.  The other ones are awesome too!:

Ms. Coil also had the students do oil pastel painting,  The first painting won an award at the Awards Ceremony too.  The others didn't, but they still turned out nice.
