MESSAGE FROM OUR
PRINCIPAL:
On behalf of all of
the staff at Wasson High School, it is indeed my pleasure to
welcome you to a new and exciting school year. For those
of you whose students have attended
WHS in the past, we are so glad to have you returning. And for
those of you whose students are
entering Wasson for the first time, we are pleased to have
you as a part of our school community.
Let me also take this opportunity to introduce myself. My
name is Sean Dorsey, and I am honored
to be serving as your new principal. I look forward to meeting
each of you very soon. Previous to
accepting the principal position at Wasson High School, I
served as an assistant principal for six years at two
local high schools. Prior to my
administrative career, I had the opportunity to serve as a
special educator. I know from meeting
with teachers, parents, community members, and your past
principal that Wasson is a school committed to
excellence. Academic achievement,
character development, commitment to safety, and a sense of
belonging and community are clearly
high priorities at Wasson. Please be assured of my
commitment to honoring your accomplishments and my hope
of contributing to even greater
success in the future. Quite simply, we have high expectations
for
ourselves, as well as for all of our students.
