STAR, a Mosaica charter school,
will open in the Fall of 2007 serving k-5 students. The mission
statement of the school is "Space Technology Arts Academy will
prepare students to succeed in our increasingly global culture by
developing critical skills and knowledge through core academics, a
humanities approach to cross-disciplinary learning, and the
aggressive integration of the arts, space and technology curricula."
The curriculum includes Spanish language instruction for all
students. The school will offer a 200 day school year using Paragon
and Mosaica curriculum using a model in place at other Mosaica
sponsored schools throughout the nation. For more on the
