MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL:
Located on the mountainside in northwest Colorado Springs, Chipeta Elementary is a neighborhood school with world-class standards. The Chipeta educational community is proud of its high level of student achievement, excellent staff and involved families. As a service to our families, we provide options for on-site daycare, and all-day kindergarten. Our Parent Teacher Association is active in providing volunteers in the classroom, sponsoring special events for families and developing enrichment classes for students.
Chipeta's test scores are considerably above state and national averages
and we are proud of recent gains in writing.
