It’s Talent Show Time!
That’s right, the rumors are true…Sabin Idol is coming back to town!
This year we will have
two separate talent shows, one “exhibition-style” show, without judges, at
Sabin on May 6th,
and an evening performance with judges on May 7th
at Doherty High School! The school show will start at approximately 2:15,
and the Doherty evening show will start at 7:00 pm.
Parents and community members are cordially invited to attend and support
these young performers. A record number of acts tried out this year, 35, and
because of time restraints, seventeen acts were accepted, more than any
other year. This year’s acts include a comedy routine, modern, tap and
ballet dance, singing, drum and violin/viola duets, and even a martial arts
demonstration set to music. It should be a great show!

Brennon Madrid, Allison Petrovich, Jordan Lahey, Anjela Peterson, Emily
Archibald, Sierra Woelk, and Ahbreyonna Sturlaugson,
and eighth graders
Hailey Pigford, Jenny Murnane, Allison Wellborn, Nick Masching, Monica
Padeway, Abbey Coe, Casey Parks, Daniel Arellano, and Jonae Heslip.
The caliber of this year’s acts is very high, so we’re looking forward to
some amazing performances!
