Databases

What is a database?  It is a collection of specific data or information that is brought  together to be searched, quickly for example, a list of magazines or newspapers.

if you will be using these databases for research somewhere other than at school, ask your LTE or LTT for the passwords.

Grolier Online - A number of different types of encyclopedias to choose from.
EBSCO databases - Magazines, newspapers, biographies,  primary source documents, radio and tv transcripts, etc.
Newsbank - Newspapers, radio, magazines
Sirs Discoverer - Social issues, Countries, Animals, etc
