Each student will be loaned basic instructional material without
cost. However, students are strongly urged to purchase their own day
planner, called a Student Agenda for five dollars. Sixth grade students
may purchase their own instructional world atlas to assist them during
their three years at Sabin.
In certain classes students may be charged for the cost of materials
for construction of projects, which will become their property. Payments
for materials will be made through the main office. Students will receive
receipts when payments are made. Receipts should be presented to the
teacher. Any student who needs financial help with fees may contact the
grade level counselor for assistance.
Students are responsible for books issued to them and they are required
to pay a fee for those not returned. These fees range from a low of $5.00
to a current high of $62.00. All books must be covered to extend the life
of the book and protect taxpayers’ investments.
Students may be expected to pay for costs for
a field trip or special projects related to standards.
