A comprehensive counseling approach is the model for the
Sabin Counseling Department. Our focus is in academic achievement,
social/behavioral and career development. We believe counselors have a
direct impact on student achievement in each of these core areas.
Counselors are available for individual student support, small group
support, and classroom instruction. Counselors can help set up a child
study meeting with parents, students, teachers, counselor and
administrator. Discipline, behavior, academic and attendance problems may
be discussed at such meetings. The team will develop a set of
interventions to increase opportunities for student success. Counseling News
