Project Lead the Way is a program to address the need of educating students to be more prepared for careers in engineering and technology. The middle School program is called Gateway to Technology.

It incorporates the national standards of math, science, and technology. There are four nine-week units: Design and Modeling, The Magic of Electrons, The Science of Technology, Automation and Robotics, and Flight and Space.
