Your child has been identified as gifted, or perhaps your child has not been formally identified, but you know that she/he is different from other children her age.  Consider these questions:

 

• Does your child like to be challenged with new ideas?
• Is your child aware of situations and question things that are difficult, if not impossible to answer?
• Does your child push his/her limits, refuse to take no for an answer, and act like a junior lawyer?
• Does your child have a wide range of interests or one consuming area of interest?

 

If you answered yes to these questions, then this forum is for you!  Join Gifted and Talented Department staff members, parents, and educators to learn more about the unique characteristics gifted children in a forum to share experiences and coping strategies to better understand these unique children.
