Students who are enrolled in District 11 Middle Schools are eligible for participation in the interscholastic athletic programs. Sports are open to all three grade levels (6-7-8). Boys and Girls Basketball, Girls Volleyball, and Boys Wrestling include two teams per gender. The A-Squads will be composed of 8th graders plus a few highly skilled 7th graders. The B-Squads will be composed of lesser skilled 7th graders and 6th graders. Track will have a 6th grade team, a 7th grade team, and an 8th grade team for all meets. All sports have at least two coaches per season. Each season concludes with a District Classic Tournament.

If your child is interested in participating in the inter-scholastic sports program next year please make sure your child has had a physical within the year.  You can pick up a sports physical form in the counseling office to have over the summer.  If your child is in need of a physical for summer camp, take in the sports form as well and be ahead of the game!

Accomplishments:

The Sabin Wrestling team won the D-11 City Classic 2007-2008.

The Sabin Girls' Basketball team won the D-11 Middle School basketball Classic 2006-2007.
