information needed. What questions need to be answered or explained?
- Information Seeking
Strategies:

sources: Which sources best help answer the questions or complete the
project?
- Location and Access:
- Locate
Sources: Where can I find these resources?
- Find Information
within sources. (Indexes, bibliographies, further reading etc..)
- Use of Information:
What can I use from these resources?
- Engage (e.g., read,
hear, view) Read books, watch videos, do electronic research.
- Extract relevant
information. Take notes on information that helps your
project.
Do Not Paraphrase.
- Synthesis: What can I
make to finish the job?
- Organize information
from multiple sources. Does my presentation or paper flow and make sense?
- Present the result.
(Do a presentation, turn in a final draft, etc.,).
- Evaluation:
How will I
know I did my job well?
- Judge the result
(effectiveness). Did I explain my research so people understand?
- Judge the process
(efficiency). Did I use my time well and get my project done in time?
