Welcome to Rudy Kindergarten! I am pleased to have your child in my class. Kindergarten is a fascinating time in a child’s life and I am very excited to be a part of it.

My name is Angela Kramer. I was born in Spokane, Washington. I grew up in Oregon and call my self a Northwestern Girl. I earned my Bachelors Degree, in Elementary Education, from Montana State University and earned my Masters Degree, in Gifted and At Risk, from the University of Phoenix. I have 11 years of teaching experience, two years of fourth grade, three years of first grade, and 7 years of Kindergarten. Every year kindergarten teaches me something more and I love it.

Each child in my class is a unique individual and will receive special attention. I believe every child can learn.  I also believe all children do not learn the same way or at the same time. Each child comes into every new situation with their own scheme and that is what makes them ready or not to learn. It is at that point, I pull from their current knowledge and build upon it.  I will do what ever it takes to help your child become a successful student and a responsible citizen here at Rudy and out in Colorado Springs.

I am excited to be here at Rudy and even more excited to be your child’s teacher. Even though here at Rudy our school mascot is the Ridgerunner, in my class I call my students Busy Bees. You will see bees on several things in my class and on my newsletters. Like the bee, it flies because it thinks it can, even though aerodynamically it is impossible for it to fly. We can accomplish many things in life if we put our minds to it. So the bees in my class are to encourage my students that anything is possible as long as we think we can!

I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of my students and their family! I am looking forward to a wonderful 2007-2008 school year!
