Welcome Letter  

Clifford

          I would like to welcome you and your family to Rudy Elementary! I am pleased to be a part of your child’s kindergarten year.

          My name is Heather Hinesley. I was born in Las Cruces , New Mexico . Colorado Springs has been my home for the last eight years. In 2004 I completed the Teacher Education Program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs , (UCCS). My first year after graduation I substituted in District Eleven to become familiar with schools. It was because of my substitute experience, that I came to know and love Rudy Elementary. I have been teaching here at Rudy for the past three years. My first year at Rudy, I tutored all grade levels in reading and math. My second year here at Rudy, I worked part time as a reading tutor and part time as a second grade teacher. My third year, I taught two half day kindergarten classes. That was an experience! I am now going on my fourth year, and I am very excited to be teaching full day kindergarten!
