Visits to Observe RtI
Observing the RtI
process in action at a school is one of the best ways to learn how to
implement RtI. Schools and districts are encouraged to visit our
Exemplar sites or other sites that have proven expertise in data
collection, progress monitoring, Problem Solving Team process, Positive
Behavior Support system or other components. All visits are coordinated
through the District RtI Implementation Office.
As of Spring 2008,
the District has designated six elementary schools and two middle
schools as “Exemplar” sites for their exceptional RtI practices. At the
high school level, visitors are encouraged to observe the “Best
Practice” high school sites listed below.
