Leadership
Luncheon:
Amy Pendleton is heading up a program for 4th

Is requesting $100 for each class. Dena
Manning voiced concern about cost due to a lack of PTO funds.
Ms. Manning will see if she can get some donations.
Class Booklet:
Jenifer Green’s class made Dr. Seuss books.
She would like to have a copy made for each of her students.
She has received a quote from the District 11 Production Department in
the amount of $210 for 27 books. Ms.
Manning indicated that she is aware of a print company that may be able to quote
a better price. She will look into
this.
Treasurer’s
Report:
Dena Manning, Treasurer, reports that the balance for the
PTO account is $1,376.85. Once the
money for specific sub-accounts is taken out, the balance is $548.83.
Discussion regarding what can be done with the money as we
have three more major events for the year and two more pizza parties.
A motion to take the sub-account money and put it in the
“general” fund was made by Heather Cunningham and seconded by Dena Manning.
Carried.
Staff Luncheon:
Lorie Estrada suggested we provide breakfast rather than
lunch. Ms. Estrada will make a cake.
Menu will include bagels, juice, cream cheese and fruit.
Motion by Toni Rizuto to spend up to $200 for the
breakfast. Second by Heather
Cunningham. Carried.
Track & Field

and popsicles.

and Ms. Green for the Future Leader’s Luncheon and the Dr. Seuss books.

Ms. Cunningham and Ms. Manning have both indicated that
they do not wish to be officers for the next school year. Discussion regarding
how we can get more people interested in PTO and in becoming officers.
Art Night:
Dena Manning suggested we get pizzas from Papa John’s and
sell a slice for $1.00. We would
make $4.75 per pizza sold. We will
try to get soda donated which we will sell for fifty cents.
Suggested that PTO have a table set up at Art Night to
inform parents of the need for members.
By-Law Review:
Motion by Toni Rizuto that no changes need to be made to
the by-laws at this time. Second by
Heather Cunningham. Carried.
