Rogers Media Center Vision

To create a positive learning environment where students, staff and community can participate in the life long journey as responsible, information literate users who have learned the love of reading.

Mission Statement

The Rogers Library Media Team will focus on creating an Information Literate society by:

·        Teaching users how to use resources efficiently and effectively.

·        Teaching learners to integrate and use information from a variety of sources.

·        Facilitating independent selection of materials for reading enjoyment.

·        Being fiscally responsible in all financial decisions.

·        Sharing our love of the written language for others to enjoy.

 Guiding Principals

·        Will be focused on student achievement;

·        Make fact-based decisions for continuous improvement;

·        Believe in treating individuals as we wish to be treated;

·        Will conduct our business openly with honesty, integrity, and trust.  We will expect the same of others;

·        Are responsible and accountable for what we do.
