Key Programs
 |
Workers’ Compensation |
The district provides
statutory Workers’ Compensation coverage for all employees while at work
performing their duties. We are self-insured. We
also purchase Excess Workers’ Compensation.
 |
Professional Liability
(a.k.a. School Leaders Errors & Omissions) |
The Errors and Omissions
coverage is activated by claims alleging wrongful acts. Coverage is provided
the district and employees while in the course and scope of their duties
against accusations of wrongful conduct including sexual misconduct,
discrimination, etc., or failure to comply with legal requirements.
Additionally, a claimant has to request either monetary damage or similar
relief.
 |
General Liability |
Our General Liability policy
responds primarily to claims brought by third parties. The policy responds
to losses associated with property damage, personal injury, bodily injury,
advertising injury and employee benefits liability.
 |
Property |
Property insurance covers physical damage or
loss to tangible property. Generally, if there is damage because of a
covered peril such as flood or fire, protection is provided. This would
include damage to software, hardware or computer systems. Coverage is
provided to all owned, leased or possessed property. Also included is extra
expense and business interruption coverage.
 |
Boiler & Machinery |
Provides coverage for damage caused by our
heating, venting, and air-conditioning systems and associated equipment.
 |
Commercial Motor Vehicle Liability |
This policy provides liability coverage while
in the course and scope of performing duties. It covers all owned,
leased/rented, hired or non-owned vehicles used in district business.
Benefits include commercial motor vehicle, no-fault, and uninsured
liability.
