Rental of District 11 Facilities for Non-District Uses

District Eleven encourages citizens to use the schools for community activities.  Please complete this form only if you need an auditorium.  We will make every effort to fill your request.  High school auditorium rental fees include two dressing rooms.  Grand piano is $55.00 extra.  Technical rehearsals, set up and strike time for sets are billed separately at $30.00 hourly.  Tap dancing is restricted unless special flooring is provided by lessee.  See rental fee schedule for costs.  Check for $30 processing fee must accompany this request to initiate the rental process.

This is not a contract.  Contracts are required for all rentals.  A contract will be sent once this paper work has been completed.

CONTRACTS MUST BE SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES TO RESERVE SPACE.  Payments are required at least ten working days in advance of facility use.  Please pay by check, money order, or cashier’s check.  No cash please.  NO BUILDING WILL BE OPEN UNTIL CONTRACT IS SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES AND FEES ARE PAID.

ADVERTISING

All advertising for activities, which take place in or on the Licensed Property shall include the following statement:

  "These activities will take place on property that [name the Grantee] has licensed from Colorado Springs School District Eleven pursuant to Board of Education Policy KF.  Our group has paid a full rental fee for the facility and, therefore, our rental of the facility is not supported by tax dollars.  Our use of a District facility represents neither agreement or disagreement with our group’s goals, purposes, or statements by the Board, Administration, or the District."

District Eleven does not provide advertising support for lessee.
