Have you ever wondered how a big pumpkin grows from a tiny seed? Read about the life cycle of the pumpkin. The Life Cycle of a pumpkin has 7 stages:
| 1. The pumpkin starts as a tiny seed. We dig a hole in the ground and cover them with soil. | |
| 2. We water the seeds and the sun warms them. Soon, small green shoots poke through the ground. |
| 3. The shoots grow into vines. The vines grow longer and longer. |
| 4. Yellow flowers bloom where our pumpkins will grow. |
| 5. Small green pumpkins grow on the vines. |
| 6. The pumpkins grow larger and larger. By fall, the pumpkins change color, from green to orange. |
| 7. After a while, the pumpkins will begin to rot. Inside are tiny seeds, ready to grow into big pumpkins for next fall. |
