Parent Connect By Phone

If you are interested in accessing your student's school records via the Parent Connect website, please bring a photo ID to the front office or the library during school hours. Our staff will be happy to provide you with your personalized pin number, password and logon information. You may call 328-5057 for further information.

In September 2001 Palmer High School implemented a unique communication tool known as Parent Connect which allows parents online access to assorted information concerning their student. Each parent will be issued a pin number and password to access the internet site containing this information. Parents needing to pick up this information may come to the main office between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A picture ID is necessary. Requests may be made by e-mail or by phone. However, it will be necessary for the parent or guardian to come to the library and show a picture ID in order to receive information requested by phone or through e-mail.

AOL Users and Parent Connect: Begin by opening up AOL and then minimizing it. Then open Internet Explorer, type in the URL and access Parent Connect through Internet Explorer.

Parent Connection by Phone

The new student information phone system is now available to parents by calling 520-2300. The new system provides up-to-date information on student attendance, assignments for secondary students, grades, schedules, standards and benchmarks for elementary students, school and classroom news. This information is an abbreviated version of what is available through Parent Connection on the Internet. To access this new system, parents will use the same PIN and password assigned for access to Parent Connection on the Internet (PIN and password information are issued to parents by the school.

The information provided is real-time data posted in the Zangle Student Information System by teachers and school. Callers will use their phone keypads or speak their choices using the speech recognition software. While calling into the system, users will receive detailed information on how to easily navigate through the menu choices.

    User Tips
  • The touchtone system ensures the system receives all responses clearly.
  • Callers using the speech recognition feature should avoid speaker phones and noisy locations as the system may pick up the background noise as responses.
  • The system will allow callers to skip through areas to quickly get to the information they desire.
  • When using the touchpad, callers can press the star key (*) to repeat a recording, the one key (1) to skip to the next item and the pound key (#) to return to the student menu.
  • Speech recognition callers can say student menu at any time to return to the Student Menu.
