IB Diploma Results


In order to earn the IB Diploma, students must
· Earn at least 24 points on their exams
· Complete and document 150 hours of Community, Activity, and Service (CAS)
· Submit an acceptable Extended Essay

Palmer’s Diploma rate for May 2007 was 94%.

Historically, the Diploma rate for IB schools in the U.S. has been between 70 and 75%. This means that approximately three out of four students who “sit” for IB exams as Diploma candidates earn the Diploma.

Did you know? Public universities and colleges must grant incoming freshmen who have earned the IB Diploma at least 24 semester hours credit.
