Website of the Month

As we look at our goal of making the website a place where students want to go, we've decided to put a "website of the month" on the main page. With this month being Black History Month we decided that our first website would be the NAACP National Historic Timeline. We will add other websites and archive the links and begin to build a database of links for student study, purusal, and enjoyment.

CSAP Schedule for March 2010

The CSAP schedule for Spring 2010 is:
March 9 & 10 7:45-11:55; Buses depart 12:15
March 16 & 17 7:45-11:55; Buses depart 12:15

For more detailed information.

What Palmer is Reading

We were asked by the BAAC to provide some of the documents Palmer teachers and staff are reading and using in staff development, inservices, classes and just for increasing our knowledge. We have a new page available that we will update as we continue our goals of becoming the best school we can be. This page also helps us with a District 11 goal of communicating with our customers--our students and parents. For more information.

Extra, Extra, Extra...December Issue of Lever is Here!

Lever HomePalmer Live Club Unites Student Musicians

Walking past the library on Monday afternoons this year, one might hear the faint trickle of acoustic guitar, the light notes
of a flute or the words of a poet fl owing from the open doors. The Christmas lights, microphone and mini disco ball accent
the concert atmosphere. This unexpected ambiance is the result of a performance brought to you by the newly established club, Palmer Live.

singer“[Eli Fredrickson and] I decided to start the club because [we] didn’t feel like there was a supportive enough community for Palmer musicians who wanted to share their skill and their art,” said senior, Barak Ben-Amots, co-founder of Palmer Live.

“We put on live performances in the library every Monday to allow musicians to experience having an audience,” said Ben-Amots. “We also do our best to support shows at outside venues by Palmer musicians.” Continue reading the December issue of The Lever.
