IBM-compatible systems using AOL
This is a two-step process that depends upon the software you're using.

Step 1:

If you are using AOL3, click the Prefs button in the browser toolbar, then click the Security tab.

If you are using AOL4, click My AOL in the browser toolbar and choose Preferences. Then click WWW, and in the AOL Internet Properties box, click the Security tab.

Step 2:
Once you are viewing the Security tab, you'll need to enable Active scripting:

If you see a Run ActiveX scripts box, make sure it's checked. Then click OK.

If you see four option buttons (High security, Medium security, Low security, and Custom), click Custom and then click the Settings… button next to it. Scroll down and, under Active scripting, click Enable, then click OK.
