5th Annual MHS Car Show
When: Thursday, May 8th, 2008
Time: 9am-2:30pm
Where: MHS Football Field
Cost: Free

Car Owners:
Interested in Entering Your Car/Motorcycle?
Early Registration is $10.00 or
$15.00 the day of the show. Cars will be parked on the football
field. Move in time starts at 7:00am and the show ends at 3:00pm.
Categories are classics, muscle, rat rods, low riders, trucks, 4x4,
and imports.
There will be prize giveaways, food and
more.

SkillsUSA-VICA is a national organization serving more than 240,000 high
school students,
college students and professional members. Mitchell
High School's VICA AUTO is one of the more than 13,000 chapters.
SkillsUSA-VICA prepares America's high performance workers. It provides quality
education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and
character development. It builds and reinforces self-confidence, work attitudes
and communications skills. It emphasizes total quality at work, high ethical
standards, superior work skills, life-long education and pride in the dignity of
work.
SkillsUSA-VICA also promotes understanding of the free enterprise system
and involvement in community service activities.
Mr. Montez is one of the approximately 15,000 teachers and school administrators
that serve as professional
SkillsUSA-VICA members and instructors. More than 1,000 corporations, trade
associations and labor unions actively support SkillsUSA-VICA on a national
level through financial aid, in-kind contributions, and involvement of their
people in SkillsUSA-VICA activities.
This years SkillsUSA VICA motto is:

The parents, students
and staff of Mitchell High School believe that all students will learn
in our safe, academically rigorous environment, which is driven by high
expectations and standards-based instruction. Our Staff will work with
parents and community members in developing students who are
responsible, literate and caring citizens.
We value our diverse
student body. We will collaborate in our learning community to address
the various educational needs of our students. We accept no excuses for
failure as we prepare students for post-secondary experiences.
