Mitchell High School ECP

Early Childhood Professions Honors

Do you enjoy working with children?
Are you thinking  about a career in teaching or one working with children?

If you answered yes to both or even one of these questions, then this is the class for you!

Early Childhood Professions 101 & 102H
are offered right here at Mitchell High School.  They are Pikes Peak Community College Courses. If you receive a B or better, you will automatically receive College Credit from Pikes Peak Community College.
You will spend half the semester in the classroom and the other half working with children in elementary schools or day cares. This class is offered first semester only and meets two periods a day.
This course is an honors class so it does offer a challenging, interesting curriculum that will  allow you to better understand children and how they think. Although this course is an honors class, if you are a hard worker and dedicated to learning about children, you will be successful.

For more information about this class or others offered through the Consumer and Family Studies department please contact Mrs. Romero.
