The Certification Pyramid

The three basic certifications are as follows:

  • CCNA - Cisco Certified Networking Associate This is what we are preparing for at Mitchell

  • CCNP - Cisco Certified Networking Professional

  • CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert

Cisco requires anyone with a certification from them to renew it every three years.  This strengthens the credibility of their certifications in the ever-changing environment of technology.
