Welcome to Madison Elementary School!

The entire staff of Madison Elementary welcomes you to our website. We are a progressing school dedicated to improving student achievement. Our commitment to the teaching of the arts is woven throughout our curriculum. One glance at the smiles acknowledges our belief that we are here for the children.

The Madison community is very special. The adjacent neighborhood can be characterized as having the many positive qualities of a small town within a metropolitan area. The school is a major institution with this community. Many parents are sending their children here because they and other members of their family have also attended Madison years back. Our families continue to be very supportive of their school and are very active in our P.T.S.A. and Volunteers programs.

The teaching staff at Madison works diligently to best suit the needs of each child. There are particular emphases in the areas of literacy and math as well; as developing writing skills. Our basic school goals are to:

• Provide a safe and quality learning environment to promote high student achievement.
• Continue to provide improved teaching strategies and techniques using best practice and research as a basis.
