Thanks, King community, for a successful Book Fair!

Mrs. Senyard celebrated Constitution Day by dressing up like Betsy Ross.  She shared books and information about the importance of our constitution.  Mrs. Senyard brings history alive!

In February, we voted for the Colorado Children's Book Award.  Our King winners are Bad Dog, Marley! by John Grogan (picture book) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney (junior book).  Thanks to all the students who read lots of books and voted for their favorites.  The Colorado winners are exactly the same as the King winners!  Click here is see the 2010 booklist. 

Even though King is not having a Battle of the Books team this year, you might want to read a book from the 2009-2010 booklist.
