Establishing a Grolier's On-line Remote Patron Account

Click on the link to the Grolier Online Remote Patron Enrollment Form on this page and access the form. Remote users must access the enrollment form using the link on this page. Attempting simply to type the URL of the Remote Patron Enrollment Form will result in an error message.

Fill out the form and submit it electronically. Grolier registers the account and emails a user name and password to you.

From your Internet browser, log onto go.grolier.com and, at the prompt, enter the user name and password. Grolier verifies the password and sets a cookie on your computer. Thereafter, no user name or password is necessary to access Grolier Online from that workstation unless the cookie is erased or the institutional subscription lapses. Should the cookie be erased, remote users can download a new cookie using their user names and passwords.

Important Points

Remote access accounts may be established only for members of the subscribing library community, that is, for students, library patrons, or employees of a subscribing institution. Remote access accounts are not available to the public at large.

Remote users may register multiple workstations (home, office, etc.) to a single remote account.
