Our mission statement…Jefferson’s special education team is committed to providing students with individualized instruction in order to meet their IEP goals.
We will achieve these goals by…
· collaborating with all school staff to put into place resources and support to ensure students are being served in the least restrictive environment.
· ensuring that SPED students are receiving appropriate accommodations and modifications across all school environments that allow them to access their curriculum to the best of their ability.
· positively advocating for SPED students in order for them to receive the full benefit of their education and to ensure that the spirit of the law is upheld.
· supporting all students with unique needs under Jefferson’s Schoolwide approach.
