      Irving's Mission Statement

In partnership with the community, 
Irving challenges each student to achieve 

high academic standards and personal growth 
in a safe, supportive environment.

     Irving Middle School provides a wide variety
of academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular opportunities for an academically varied, culturally rich, and socio-economically diverse student population.  

     The Student Centered Academic Interdisciplinary Learn Lab (SAIL) program is a self-contained magnet for gifted students, and is one of the many

 programs offered at Irving Middle School.

   Also, Irving offers advanced classes and a variety of special electives, such as: Foreign Language, Forensics, Chess, Drama, Math Counts, and many more.
     Irving provides academically challenging opportunities in a safe environment where all students can learn.
