Course Description:  This course extends the program offered by the IB Middle Years Program and extends the basic Algebra 1,2 course to the honors level. The intent of both extensions is to better meet the needs of students who wish to enter the Middle Years program in year 4 but who have not had sufficient opportunity to master (at an honors level) fundamental concepts and skills of introductory algebra necessary to successfully study geometry at an honors level.
