Course Description:  This is an introductory course to the fundamentals of journalism. Course content includes basic news writing: features, editorials, straight news, newspaper layout, copy reading, some photojournalism, and techniques of production. The course is a prerequisite for working on the staff of the school newspaper. Class members will be given the opportunity to report for the school newspaper. (12/94)
