The ACHIEVEk12 program is a complete online curriculum with classes in mathematics, reading and writing, social studies, science, PE/nutrition, Spanish, art, and music. Hands-on enrichment classes in science, music, and art are included. All books, lesson plans, and most materials are free of charge. District 11 Community Education classes are open to all. Topics for
school age children vary and may include art, animation,
babysitting, cartooning, summer foods, writing skills, creative drama, detectives and spies, drawing basics, French, German, reading basics,
mental math, sculpture, Spanish, tennis and yoga. Adult classes include
computer, world languages, refresher courses,health and wellness, gardening, floral arranging and dance.
