Volunteers are key to making Holmes an excellent school. Parent involvement at the middle school level is very important and keeps you in better communication with your student, their teachers and your school community. Plus, you get to know other Holmes parents and become a part of the Holmes community. (You do not need to be a PTSA member to volunteer at Holmes.) New for '09, D11 now requires we verify one form of ID for all volunteers. Please download the Volunteer Interest Form and the D11 Volunteer Registration Form below and bring it to the Holmes front office in person. Once registered, you will be added to our volunteer database and receive email updates about volunteer opportunities (or by phone if you indicate this preference on your form). When you come to the school to volunteer, or when you volunteer outside of school, be sure to log your hours in the main office when you sign-in. You can also email our volunteer chair your volunteer hours. Recording volunteer hours is important. *Note: forms available in Holmes front office and they also go home with students at start of school year |
