Who can join?

PTSA membership is open to anyone - parents, guardians, grandparents, students, staff, businesses (see business link below).

Why join?

As a PTSA member, you have a voice in what happens at Holmes, you will receive email updates about events and opportunities to volunteer, and your dues directly support Holmes PTSA programs. Members receive a free Student  Directory, extra door prize tickets at Bingo and special concession deals at select home sporting events. Students are welcome to join PTSA. You also benefit when you shop with PTA business partners (click here for a list).

When can I join?

Each school  year our PTSA holds a membership drive in the fall. Our first deadline is September 10th  (send it in along with your Student Directory information). If you miss the September deadline, you have until January 15th to join. Your membership needs to be renewed each year and if you have students at more than one school, remember that PTA's are separate. Joining Holmes PTSA does not mean you are also a member of your elementary and/or high school PTA. Your dues support the programs at the school where you are a member.

How Do I Join...

Have your student submit your dues by attaching them to the Green Form in the  First Day Folder information in August. Place form and payment in an envelope marked Membership and have them drop it off in the Holmes front office. Or, you may print the form below and bring it to the front office with payment during regular office hours. Make your check payable to Holmes PTSA. You many also send your form/payment to Holmes (PTSA Membership, 2455 Mesa Road, Colorado Springs, CO  80904) Thank you for your support and for taking an active role in your student's experience here at Holmes.

Dues...

Holmes PTSA dues are $7.00 for the year ($1.25 cents stays with our school and the remainder supports the county, state and National PTA). Our PTSA receives resources and training from these different levels of PTA - which in turn benefits you! For example, Holmes students are able to participate in the Reflections program, Colorado PTA updates members about legislative issues that affect education, and PTA members have the opportunity to attend training sessions at the beginning of the year as well as the state PTA Convention.
