Attention all Travelers!

England/Scotland Spring Break 2011

 

Ms. Hodge will be having and informational meeting Wed, Sept 15 at 6pm in room 42 regarding the SPRING BREAK trip to England/Scotland.

 

It is run through EF tours-they have been doing these educational trips for over 40 years. This will be my ninth trip overseas, and I have had the most wonderful experiences! These are all-inclusive trips and are extremely well organized. Students can earn high school elective credits as well. The cost is approx $2200. There is fundraising available.

 

If you have questions, please contact Ms. Hodge at hodgekh@d11.org. If interested, since all has to be paid by January-students, friends and family must Sign-up by Sept 30th.

BOYS GOLF Informational meeting Thursday, August 26, 8am in the cafeteria. Tryouts will begin the following week. Each boy must have a blue card and yellow filled out (physical done) and the fee is $65. It is a club fee-so no discounts for free and reduced lunch. Curriculum & 21st Century Learning

To meet the needs of our future graduates in these Rapidly Changing Times, we are developing 21st century learning experiences in a guaranteed and viable curriculum. It is accessible by students, parents, teachers administrators and support staff 24/7. As you look through the course content for various grade levels, you will find electronic resources, digitized instructional videos, review games, and other supports for the variety of student interests and skill levels we find in our classrooms today. Parents will find helpful hints and strategies to support and extend learning opportunities at home. Our curriculum is aligned to support the Profile of a District 11 Graduate.
