Mission Statement

It is the mission of the LTE and Library Media Center Staff to serve as support to the learning community of Fremont Elementary by empowering them to access and use information in a variety of formats, as well as encouraging and preparing students to be life-long learners.  This mission is accomplished by:

·       providing instruction in information literacy

·       encouraging a love of reading

·       collaborating with other educators  to develop learning strategies that support the curriculum

·       providing intellectual and physical access to informational materials

·       supporting the district’s and Information Literacy standards.
