Windy Celeste Berrigan
I was born in
Tarma, Peru but I grew up in Colorado Springs where I went to school in
District 11 and graduated from Palmer High School. I attended the University
of Northern Colorado and majored in Spanish: Bilingual/Bicultural
Education. It has always been my passion to learn another language and I
enjoy sharing this with children. I did my student teaching in Mexico and
fell in love with the country and its people and decided stay. For the
past four years I’ve been teaching at Colegio Williams in Cuernavaca,
Mexico. It was a great experience to not only perfect my Spanish speaking
skills, but I was also able to learn about another culture and see the world
in a whole new environment.
