I’m Jerry Wilson and I teach Physical Education. I graduated from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia with a degree in Physical Education and Health. I also have a Master’s degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I taught for two years at a Youth Detention Center in Georgia and then I moved to California where I taught in middle and high schools for five years. In high school, I was the head coach of Cross-Country and Track and Field. My wife, Emily, and I decided to move to Colorado Springs in 2006. Last year I taught P.E. at Edison Elementary School in District 11. I thoroughly enjoy teaching elementary school and love the energy and excitement that elementary students have.
