My name is Sarah Marr and I am the School Psychologist and Special Education Staffing Coordinator at Freedom Elementary. I grew up in southeast Virginia and received my BA in Psychology and Recreation Administration at the University of North Carolina. After moving to Florida, I obtained my Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in School Psychology at U. of Florida at Tampa. My passions in life are family, sports, and work. I have two children attending high school in D11. During school vacations we pack our bags and head across the country to be with extended family. In my spare time I love to play tennis and soccer. I had the privilege to play soccer for U. of North Carolina for the world’s strongest soccer program (over 20 national championships). Of course, the first of these national championships was after they got rid of me! Still kicking, I now play for a team appropriately called the “Geezers”! I have worked as a school psychologist for 18 years with School District #11 and love my profession. Freedom falcons SOAR and I am proud to be part of this learning community.
