I would love to introduce myself!  My name is Christy Feldman and I teach first grade here at Freedom.  I am proud to say that I am a product of District 11 schools.  I went to Jefferson, East and graduated from Wasson High School.  I attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and graduated with a BA in elementary education. I taught my first year at Audubon Elementary in a first second combination class and then moved to Jefferson Elementary where I taught 15 years.  Somewhere in there I found the time to get married, have two children (ages 2 and 6) and get a MA in computer technology in education from the University of Colorado.  It was very hard to leave my alma mater- Jefferson, but I couldn’t have found a better place to be.  It has been very exciting moving into a new building and getting to know your fabulous children.  Freedom Elementary is the BEST!
