Bio:

My name is Chris Bedwell. I am excited to be teaching 2nd Grade at Freedom Elementary this year. I have taught for over twenty years in many states and even overseas (Germany). I did my graduate studies in reading and enjoy continuing my education each year. My husband and I have enjoyed our 2 years living in Colorado and plan to stay longer than first thought. We have 2 (adult) children; our son Richard is stationed in Germany and headed for his 2^nd tour in Iraq; our daughter, who lives with her husband in northern Virginia, has just blessed us with our 1^st grandchild, Julia Claire. I enjoy gardening, reading, and especially eating chocolate! I look forward to working with the Freedom staff and Freedom families, and especially the first group of “Kinders” at Freedom. “Freedom Falcons SOAR!”
