Bio:   Hello, my name is Jeff Rodriguez and I am a third grade teacher here at Freedom Elementary. I have had the good fortune of teaching here since the school’s opening day in 2007, and have enjoyed watching the school and the children grow. This is now my 12^th year teaching. I taught 5^th grade for 5 years, a 5^th/6^th combo for one year, and, this is now my 6^th year teaching 3^rd grade. Where the time has gone, I do not know.

I got into education because I believe it is a good way to spend my life. I have always enjoyed working with children and watching them grow to be successful adults. It is always very rewarding for me when former students come back and tell me what they are doing in life.  I hold a BA in Liberal Studies/Elementary Education, and an MA in Education, with an emphasis on Administration and Supervision.

                I am married to the love of my life, Audrey, and we have 5 beautiful children. Their ages are 14, 12, 10, 7, and 3. They are beautiful children, and I could not be more proud of them. We love to do all sorts of things as a family: camping, biking, hiking, playing games, reading books together, fishing, and a lot more!! Sometimes, we just do nothing together and have good conversations.

                In my free time, I like to be with my family, exercise, read, and play games.
