Bio:
I am Melissa Caceres and I am teaching first grade here at Freedom Elementary.  I am so excited to be at our wonderful school.  I have 13 years of teaching experience in the primary grades. While most of my time has been spent teaching kindergarten, I also have experience teaching Reading Recovery and first grade.  I grew up in Colorado Springs and attended college at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.  I have taught in Colorado, Wyoming, and California.  I have one darling son in kindergarten here at Freedom and four dogs, a fish, a cat, and a bearded dragon at home.  One interesting fact about me is that my foreign language is American Sign Language.
