Bio:
My name is Cindy Hayden and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten at Freedom Elementary.  I attended Colorado State University (Go Rams) for my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science.  After working 10 years in the medical field I decided to change careers and I went back to school for a Master of Arts degree and teaching license in Primary Education from the University of Phoenix.  I am thankful that I made this decision and I absolutely love teaching!  This is my fourth year teaching kindergarten. 

I am a native of Colorado Springs and truly enjoy raising my family in this beautiful state.  I have been blessed with a wonderful family, my husband Scott, and our sons Trenton age eight, and Kyle age four.  In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy baking, scrapbooking, most sports and shopping.

I am looking forward to working with the students, parents, and staff in this great community.

Bio:
My name is Angela Jeffries.  This is my second year working as a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant in Mrs. Hayden's and Mrs. Jones' rooms.  This year I am also helping in Miss Wade's room.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University and worked for various corporations for over 10 years.  I started substitute teaching when my daughters were in elementary school so I could have the freedom to volunteer in their classrooms and be there for them before and after school.  I substitute taught in D11 for 10 years.  This included a long term substitute assignment teaching a half day kindergarten class for a semester.
More recently, I was a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant at Steele Elementary in D11 for two years. 
Obviously, I love working with kindergarten age children; it's so exciting to watch them grow both academically and socially and turn into first graders!
I have been married to Keith for 25 years and have two daughters.  In my free time I enjoy gardening and reading.
