Hello! My name is Dawn Bartlett. I am the Library Technology Educator here at
Freedom. This is my 8th year with District #11. I have a Master of Education
(M.Ed.) in School Library and Information Technologies. I have worked with
children of all ages for 17 years. I also serve as the Children's Ministry
Director at my church. My husband is a Colorado Springs firefighter/paramedic
and we have two incredible children, a 10 year old daughter and a 10 month old
son.
I look forward to the 2009-2010 school year. Technology is changing every day
and it is exciting to be able to work with your children and help guide them
towards global citizenship. Because I wear two hats (technology and library), I
must also mention that one of my favorite read aloud books is Tony DiTerlizzi's
"Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for
she is your life."
