In every instructional decision, we are committed to the beliefs that all students want to learn, all students can learn and that success breeds success. Beyond that, it is clear that a critical aspect of preparing student citizens for a lifetime of success in a rapidly changing world is the ability to understand and work productively with a diverse array of people.
 

Our office develops and offers a wide variety of programs and services to educate students, staff, families and the community concerning such topics as racial harassment and ethnic intimidation, sexual harassment, conflict management training, diversity awareness, services for students with special needs, and related issues. We help address problems that arise through mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and offer ombudservices. We are also responsible for investigating
discrimination complaints.
